GJCDC was organized on June 26, 2005. It was established to support the development and revitalization of Northeast Jacksonville's communities through a range of services, including education, job training, mentoring, healthcare, mental health, entrepreneurial development, and other social programs.

Spring Health Initiative

GJCC hosted an 8-week Workshop teaching GJCC members and the community about the Mediterranean Diet to help participants reduce their reliance on medication.

Emergency Preparation Day

GJCC, along with our Community Partners, hosted a one-day emergency preparedness workshop for the community, giving away a variety of essential emergency items and information.
